So, I'm sure we all miss each other after a day of awesome fun at the Hindu Students Conference 2012 on February 18, 2012. As promised, here's a blog where we can all share our thoughts and update each other on life and Hindu events that are happening on your campuses (maybe extend a few invitations, reunite once more). With this said, I leave it up to you to breathe life into this blog - go at it!

NOTE: To make stuff easier to find, a new post identical to this one will be made towards the beginning of every month (for archival purposes - see bar to right)

USC HSO is prepping for the annual Holi event we do with the Association of Indian Students, to be held March 31. We're planning a visit to the Vedanta Society temple in Hollywood, where our advisor who you all met, Swami Atmavidyananda, is based. We're shooting for going during Hanuman Jayanti at the beginning of April. Other than that, we've been meeting weekly, anyone have any good discussion topics or material they've used recently?

Hindu Students Association Spiritual Retreat, at Olema Valley

Join us for a beautiful weekend of contemplation and practical spirituality. At the retreat, activities will consist of physical yoga, meditation, discussion, hiking in beautiful surroundings and cooking together. Energize yourself and soak in the gorgeous valley retreat at Olema that welcomes people of all religions. At the retreat, we will be joined by a senior monk from the Vedanta Society. We will carry food to cook during the retreat. For sleeping arrangements, there is a separate women's retreat house that can hold 16 women and the men's retreat house that can hold 12 men. All group activities during the day will be done together.
